Bemetara : A big blast has taken place in a gunpowder factory located in Bemetara district. There are reports of many people dying and many getting injured in the blast. It is being told that many people may be buried under the debris. The incident took place at Special Blast Limited Gunpowder Factory located in village Borsi of Berla block.

After the blast, a crowd of people has gathered around the factory. Some people injured in the incident have been referred to Mehakaara in Raipur. Apart from this, many people have also been admitted to the nearby hospital.

Local people are angry after the accident. It is being told that blasts happen here every day, due to which the villagers live in terror. Many houses have developed cracks. A big accident happened here today.

Bemetara Collector said that the administration team including SDM is present on the spot. At present, it is not known how many are injured or how many people are buried under the debris.
