RAIPUR: The BJP leaders are apparently seen apprehensive the party might face a setback owing to the sabotage from within the party. This has been admitted in a party forum by some of the BJP candidates who were in the poll fray.

The state BJP president Dharamlal Kaushik revealed to the media persons that such complaints have been received by the party and will be looked into. Though officially the party has ruled out of sabotage from within the party and claimed that the BJP is going to form the government for the fourth consecutive term.

A prominent BJP leader and MLA from Dharsiva assembly Devji Bhai Patel while sharing his ground experiences said claimed about the information about the party men who worked against the BJP during the recently held elections and such clandestine involvements have been put across before the senior party leaders. He suggested that such people should be identified and kicked out of the party.

“During the review meeting held at the block level, the startling reports were submitted by the block presidents. Names have come to the fore who were seen to working against the party interest. Action must be taken against them for putting the loyalty on sale”, Patel asserted.

An important post-poll review meeting was held at the BJP’s state office ‘Ekatma Parisar’ where the party’s top leadership including the chief minister Raman Singh engaged one-to-one with the party candidates who contested the elections. The party leaders and cadres attending the meeting were informed about the party’s strategy to be followed during the counting of votes on December 11.
