New Delhi: Former cricketer and Delhi MP Gautam Gambhir has requested BJP president JP Nadda to relieve him of his political responsibilities on Saturday. The move comes as Gambhir aims to dedicate more time to his upcoming cricket commitments.

Gambhir joined the BJP in March 2019 and has since emerged as a prominent figure within the party in Delhi. He successfully contested the East Delhi seat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, securing a significant victory with a margin of 6,95,109 votes.
