New Delhi: After the Congress government in Chhattisgarh has completed one year , CM BHupesh Baghel claims 39% Dip in Naxal Attacks and four top commanders killed by special forces. Four Naxal divisional committee members, who had a declared re-ward of 8 lakh, have been killed between January and August this year. Three, including a woman commander, have surrendered. Statistics from the Chhattisgarh government reveal that the number of Naxal attacks have reduced 39% from 344 till August in 2018 to 2109 in the same period this year. The number of Special Forces  personnel killed has also declined from 41 last year to 19 this year-a 54% decline. Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel said, "Top Naxal commanders are on our hit list. In the first eight months of this year, there has been a decline in the number of Naxal incidents and attacks on our Special Forces. Top Naxal commanders have been killed or have surrendered." Baghel attributed this success to his government's efforts to first hear the voices of the people and then taking governance to them.
