Raipur. The Chhattisgarh United Progressive Employees Federation has started demonstrating power in the capital to protest against irregularities and demanding regularization. After the formation of the new Congress government in Chhattisgarh, the union are protesting against the removal of about 5000 employees of Health Department, Panchayat Department, Agriculture, Power, Education, Skill Development, Computer Operator, Computer Teacher and many other departments.

The union alleges that in place of casual employees with years of experience, recruitments are being made to give employment to outside people. In protest, the employees have declared mobilization. The union says that the tenure of the present government is completing about 10 months, but no concern is shown till now for casual employees. Apart from this, the union says that the government has not been able to articulate their own stand on meeting the demands of employees, closing the layoffs and providing job security for 62 years and administrative officials are seen to be taking arbitrary action.
