Raipur :  Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has announced that the farmers in Chhattisgarh will be provided the difference amount of paddy worth approximately Rs. 13,000 crores on March 12.  Sai made the aforementioned announcement at the inauguration ceremony of  cultural pavellion at Giri Govardhan Dham in Tamamunda village of Farsabahar development block in Jashpur district. Chief Minister also announced the commencement of a link court in Pathalgaon.

While addressing the program, Chief Minister 

Sai announced sanction of Rs. 32 lakhs for the construction of a CC road on Giri Govardhan hill, Rs. 10 lakhs for the cultural pavellion in Farsabahar, and Rs. 12 lakhs for the construction of a pathway from Shiv Mandir to Kasatoli.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome received, Chief Minister said that people often welcome him by weighing him with flowers, paddy, laddoos etc, but for the first time ever in his political career, he was weighed with 'ghee'. He thanked the entire Yadukul Samaaj for their unique gesture of weighing him with ghee. Further in his address, Chief Minister highlighted the government's efforts in the last three months to expedite the development of Chhattisgarh. He mentioned the government's decision to approve 18 lakh houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, construction of which has begun at war-footing.  He also spoke about government's initiative to empower women through Mahtari Vandan Yojana and the record procurement of paddy in the state this year.

Vishnu Deo Sai shared that in the next 15 days, tendupatta will be procured at support prices. Soon, distribution of footwear for tendupatta collectors, and a scholarship scheme for their children will also be commenced. He emphasized the government's commitment to fulfill people's dreams with PM Modi's guarantee. The budget for this year focuses on expanding healthcare facilities in the Jashpur region, including the construction of a 220-bed hospital in Kunkuri. 

Chief Minister also mentioned the approval of four new primary health centers in the district, ensuring direct benefits for the local population. Various dignitaries, including Pathalgaon MLA . Gomti Sai, former MLA Shri Bharat Sai, Padma Shri Jogeshwar Yadav, Shri Rohit Sai, and  Vijay Aditya Singh Judev, along with representatives from Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Odisha attended the program. Giri Govardhan Dham Committee President  Lochan Prasad Yadav and District Magistrate, Ganesh Yadav were also present on the occasion.
