Raipur. You have to go home on Diwali but the trains are full , now you can keep your worries aside as railways has decided to run 12 Diwali special trains. The reason behind this is that the waiting in all trains is beyond 150 to 200. In such a situation, it has been decided to run special holiday trains on those routes which are more crowded. These trains will run till 30 October.
These are the major special trains and routes
1-Every Monday Shalimar to Jaipur special train
2-Jaipur to Shalimar special train every Wednesday
3-Lokmanya Tilak from Hatia every Wednesday
4-Every Friday Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Hatia
5-Every Friday from Santragachi to Hapa
6-Every Monday from Hapa to Santargachhi
7-Every Tuesday from Habibganj to Puri
8-Every Wednesday from Puri to Habibganj
9-Gondia and Guwahati Express
10-Secunderabad to Barauni every Sunday
11-Barauni to Secunderabad every Wednesday
12-Every Friday from Nagpur to Dibrugarh
And these special trains will also run
Special trains are being run for a round between Gondia and Guwahati to provide more facilities to the passengers, besides reducing the extra rush and waiting list of passengers between Gondia and Guwahati. This special will run on one side only. It will run until 30 October.

There are other trains including Delhi, Mumbai, Secunderabad, Durg-Saranath Express, Janshatabdi, Gondia Barauni. It has been decided to run special trains on these routes.
