New Delhi : Food and Civil Supplies Minister Amarjeet Bhagat met Central Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ram Vilas Paswan in Delhi. Several topics like  including the reduction in kerosene allocation, reduction in foodgrains of ashram institutions by the Central Government were discussed. During this time, along with Minister Amarjeet, a team of Food Secretary Kamalpreet, MD Markfed Shammi Abidi and officials of Civil Supplies Corporation were present.

Food minister Amarjeet Bhagat laid emphasis on the needs of ration and kerosene in Chhattisgarh in front of the central minister. So far the amount of 1000 crores has not been received from the central government. The quota ending of food supplies allocated to old age homes , ashrams and hostels has also been put forward as a grave problem in front of the central minister. The fight being fought against malnutrition by the Government of Chhattisgarh and the interests of these sections pf people were discussed too .
