The divorce battle between Hollywood’s once supercouple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is far from over. Instead, it’s getting murkier day by day with eminent mud-slinging. The ex couple have now locked horns to attain custody over their 6 children.

A day after Jolie, in a court filing, alleged that Pitt has not paid any 'meaningful' child support since their split in 2016, the latter's lawyer, Lance Spiegel called the filing "a thinly-veiled effort to manipulate media coverage", reported People.

Spiegel gave specific sums of how much Pitt has contributed, saying, the latter "loaned" Jolie $8 million to help the actress purchase a house and also contributed over $1.3 million "in bills for Jolie's benefit and the minor children".

Jolie on Tuesday had accused Pitt of evading child support. In a two-page brief, which was filed in L.A. Superior Court and obtained by NBC News, her attorney wrote that the actress plans to request a court order for the establishment of a retroactive child support order.

The ex-couple, who has six children together are still fighting over their children's custody. Financial documents are yet to be exchanged between the two since it is a routine for any divorce settlements around the world. They were together since 2004 and tied the knot in August 2014.

After announcing his multi-starrer film Takht featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Anil Kapoor, Karan Johar revealed an interesting detail about his film.

Karan compared his multi-starrer Takht with family drama Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. He said it will be like K3G in Mughal era. In an interview with Film Companion, Karan revealed few details about the film and said, “It’s about two warring brothers and it’s based on facts.”

He added, ‘’It’s like the K3G of the Mughal era. But it’s more extreme, there is more betrayal. It’s has the tropes of court politics. It’s so rich in texture.”

Talking about the cast of the film, Karan said, ‘’It’s an unusual mix of talent. They are actors who have walked the parallel path, we have the superstar dynamic with Kareena (Kapoor), there’s Anil Kapoor who I have never directed before – but each actor fits the part to the tee. It’s not that I have gone to them because I have access. It’s a strange dichotomy. Each one has never played a part like this and yet each one fit it perfectly.”
