Raipur: Negligence of the capital's biggest government hospital Mekahara has been exposed once again. The patient admitted for treatment in the hospital ran away at around 4 am, dodging the management. This reveals the loopholes of the security system of the hospital.
The family of the patient Hemlal Sarathi is now accusing the hospital staff of misbehaving. However, when the patient's mobile was traced, it was found that he is near Rajnandgaon railway station. He was brought to Mekahara by referral from Rajnandgaon. He complained of liver infection and vomiting of blood.
The patient's wife said that her husband was in a very serious condition for two days. Patient Sarathi escaped from the hospital between 4-6 am today. The family says that his condition was reported to the doctor. The doctor was also requested for security, but there was no hearing.
Sarathi’s Brother told that doctor that the nurses are not only extremely negligent here, but their abusive behavior, yelling at patients and their family never stops. “We are already going through tough times due to my brother’s illness on top of that their abuse is unbearable”, he added.
