Korba: A four-wheeler fell down the bridge in village Nunera around Pali police station area on Saturday. One person died in the accident while 13 people have been injured. The deceased is identified as Gulab Singh Kanwar who was a resident of Rode village.As per the information received three of the injured including a woman are in critical condition. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital for Medical College Hospital in Bilaspur for treatment.
As per police, Suraj Singh and his family from village Nunera were returning home on Friday night after attending a social event in Pali. Around 12 o'clock in the night, the high speed Bolero vehicle number CG12AE7086 went uncontrolled and fell down the bridge at Udta Puta route.
After the accident, everyone in the vehicle, including the driver, got badly trapped. With the help of passers-by, they were ejected from the crashed vehicle. One person died on the spot due to serious injuries.
