Raipur: In a very tragic accident a bus ran over seven people - four women and three children of a family early this morning. All the victims died on the spot in western Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahr district
The victims, who were on a pilgrimage, were sleeping on the pavement when the private bus crushed them.
The incident took place near Gangaghat in Bulandshar's Narora.
According to initial reports, the victims were from Hathras in Uttar Pradesh and were returning from Naraura Ghat after taking a dip in the Ganga river.
All bodies have been sent for post mortem. CM Yogi has instructed the District Magistrate to distribute relief amount of 2-2 lakh rupees to each of his family. Expressing condolences to the family of the dead, the CM wished for the peace of the departed souls.
