Raipur: CM Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday morning said that Government has nothing to do with Jogi's case , it was a decision of High Power Committee. The state politics' hot cake right now is the caste of former Chief Minister and founder of Chhattisgarh Janta Congress Ajit Jogi. Jogi has accused CM Bhupesh and Congress of unnecessarily raising fingers on his caste and killing his political career. Jogi has been declared as non tribal by the high power committee on Tuesday, it is also estimated that Jogi might lose his seat from Marwahi as an MLA due to his caste status.

This is the first time Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has reacted in this matter. The Chief Minister said that the investigation committee has given its report in the matter of caste, the government has nothing to do with this report. Bhupesh Baghel dismissed the allegations outright and said that the decision of the High Power Committee was, where did the matter of personal decision come from.

Talking to reporters before leaving for Mahasamund and Mungeli tour, CM said that Jogi's caste has nothing to do with government. The investigation committee has given its report. There is no personal bias of any sort .

The Chief Minister also clarified the Government's stand on the questions raised by the BJP regarding security in Dantewada by-election. The Chief Minister said that there is no problem about security. Those who go after informing  are always given protection. He once again mentioned the security of the late MLA Bhima Mandavi, saying that he had withdrawn security from himself, he had told the security forces that now the election campaign is over so there is no need for security and then after that he  went towards Shyamagiri without being said. On the way, police officers also tried to stop, but still he did not agree.
