Raipur: There is no respite in rains in the Raipur and Bastar division of Chhattisgarh.  Meteorological Department has issued an Orange alert, predicting heavy rains in the state. Since last night Bastar division and Raipur division have been raining heavily. Torrential rains have been raining in Bastar for two days, due to which the rivers and streams are in full swing. The contact of Jagdalpur to Bijapur Patnam Awapali has been cut off due to flooding of Indravati river.  Jagdalpur has been flooded with three to four feet of water everywhere, due to which vehicles are floating in roads and colonies. The state capital Raipur  also saw heavy rains since morning to late afternoon. Due to this there has been a problem of water logging in lot of areas. 
According to meteorologist HP Chandra, such a strong system has been made that if it rains according to estimates, the deficiency so far will all go away. Especially in the nine districts of central Chhattisgarh that have received less than average rainfall. These include Raipur, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Durg, Janjgir- chappa, Jashpur, Raigadh and Sarguja divisions.

Rajnandgaon: Naxalites have threatened to kill BJP MP from Rajnandgaon Santosh Pandey . A letter has also been written to the MP asking him not to campaign for the RSS otherwise, he will have to face consequences, as said in the letter . MP Santosh Pandey has also accepted that there is such a letter addressed on his name.  Speaking to the media, MP Pandey said that the language used in the letter has extremely objectionable words used for him. 

The letter carries a threat of cutting his body into pieces and disposing it off. " Stop working in forest-tribal areas, otherwise you will have to suffer the consequences", says the letter . " I have complained to the police officials through this letter and have sought to increase security", said Santosh Pandey. It is being told that the same threatening letter was sent to Dadu Singh by the Naxalites. Sources say that these days BJP leaders are on the target of Naxalites.

During the Lok Sabha elections, BJP's Dantewada MLA Bhima Mandavi was also targeted by the Naxalites. The Maoists blasted the IED and blew up Bhima Mandavi's car, killing him including two PSOs. In Kanker, RSS activist Dadu Singh Koratia was shot dead by Naxalites. Additional Police Inspector UBS Chauhan said that no information has been given by the MP in any police station so far. If the MP or anyone on his behalf complains, then appropriate action will be taken after taking cognizance of it.

Pendra: BJP leader Sameera Packra has now filed an FIR against Chief Minister Ajit Jogi after opening a front against Amit Jogi over forgery in caste at the time of nomination and mentioning wrong place of birth. In the caste case, Sameera Packra filed a FIR against Ajit Jogi at the Gorella police station.  To register the FIR Packra formed the basis of the affidavit of the Tehsildar Pitras Tirkey in which Tirkey has said that Jogi's certificate was never issued, and his signature is also not his, and the caste certificate has been made in a fake way. He was not in Gorella when this was made, he was posted at  Bilaspur. Sameera Packra said that former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi is well-educated and intelligent. He has served the country as an IAS officer but what was the need for him to make a caste certificate again. Once a person makes a caste certificate, he uses it throughout his life. But like Amit, Ajit too turned out to be a liar, said Packra. IT is noteworthy that the investigation committee had already disqualified Ajit Jogi's caste (tribal) in the caste issue. The High Court has also not relieved Ajit Jogi. Watch the video:

Raipur: On the occasion of Teachers Day, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has extended hearty wishes to all the teachers and people of the state. Chief Minister said in his message that that this day reminds us of the birth anniversary of great philosopher and Ex-President Sarvapalli Dr Radhakrishnan. Mr. Baghel said that late Dr Radhakrishnan was himself a genius, thinker and a professor. We should take pride in celebrating his birthday as Teachers Day. Chief Minister said that teachers play an important role in nation building and development of better human resources for the society.

Chief Minister said that many new innovative steps have been taken to improve quality of education in schools of the state. State Government is recruiting 15thousand regular teachers. In colleges also, nearly one thousand teachers are being recruited. He said that Chhattisgarh is the first state of the country to ensure compulsory education till 12th standard under Right to Education Act.
